We recently bought a house with Shireen and it was a great experience. We were third time home buyers and have been less than impressed with realtors in the past. We ended up feeling like we did a lot of leg work and had to work to advocate for ourselves with our own representative. Shireen came to us as a recommendation from a family friend so we were cautiously optimistic. When our search started there was a house we had our eyes on but knew we’d be too late to get a good offer in. I sent Shireen a wishlist and it was off to the races. It’s been a competitive market with low inventory and houses were going over asking and quickly. We had a very narrow geographic area we needed to work with. Every house Shireen sent us to was right on the mark of what we wanted. We had the opportunity to see a house pre-market thanks to her and I thought it was “the one.” We were gearing up to put in an offer when a house that deviated in almost every way from our wishlist caught my husband's eye. We went to the open house that day and I wasn’t sold, but Shireen made a point to stop by anyway and already started planting the seed about negotiation with the listing agent. The next day we went to look again, the listing agent told us our agent had been by and let us know there was wiggle room in the price. Next thing you know we were able to secure the house for under asking price. Shireen not only negotiated for us but didn’t make us feel like we were wasting her time when we asked for small adjustments in the offer. She worked late into the night and got offers out the same day. Anyone that’s bought a house knows that is only the beginning of working with your agent. Shireen and her team made all the inspections, walk through and communication with the agent went smoothly. It was the easiest escrow despite being the most complex of the 3 we’ve been through. On the day of closing she met us at the house with champagne and cute sign props to take photos. We sat around and chatted about how great this process had been and how thrilled we are with our home. We hope this is our forever home, but we will be referring all of our friends and family to Shireen.
